With the arrival of spring and of the good weather, Lake Garda is the perfect place to be! The editorial staff of GardaConcierge has created a helpful list of picnic and barbecue areas on Lake Garda. The picnic route starts on the northern lake shore, in Trentino, goes down to the Veneto and then back north to Lombardy.

Tenno
The Parco Grotta Cascata Varone offers visitors a large picnic area with tables and benches.

Torbole
In the Parco le Busatte, there are various picnic areas that offer a splendid view of Lake Garda.

Castelletto di Brenzone
The free beach, where visitors can have a picnic, can be reached on foot. A carpark is a bit further away on the Gardesana street.

Cisano di Bardolino
Along the "Passeggio della Pua"  street, visitors find a meadow and a picnic area boasting tables and benches.

Castelunovo del Garda
Along the lakeside, on the Ronchi beach, there is a picnic area reachable on foot.
The Del Campanello beach is another area which can be reached on foot. Here, tourists can use a complete barbecue and a picnic area close to the beach.

Lonato del Garda
The Parco La Quiete offers complete picnic and barbecue areas and a barbecue rental.

Desenzano del Garda
The Parco Le Ninfee boasts and outdoor and an indoor area with tables, seats and four free barbecue stand, one of which stands in the restaurant. Access is free for members, non-members pay a small fee.
The Parco Del Laghetto has a free picnic area with wooden benches and tables along the lake shore.

Manerba del Garda
There are no picnic areas inside the Parco della Rocca. Visitors are however allowed to bring their own lunch when respecting the nature protection area.

Gardone Riviera
In the fraction of San Michele, inside the Parco Alto Garda, visitors find a barbecue and picnic area with a panoramic view. It can be reached on foot via various ways, some of them from Salò.  For further information on the walks, we recommend a visit to the town website of Salò*.
In Renzano, in the area of Madonna del Rio, there is a picnic area along the panoramic walk.

Toscolano Maderno
At the end of the lakeside, in the Lido degli Ulivi area, there is a picnic area.

Gargnano
The La Fontanella beach and public park in the locality of Fontanella boasts a meadow and a free gravel beach with an adjacent picnic area and toilets. Cars can be left in the carpark for a fee.

Limone sul Garda
The Cola beach boasts a picnic area with tables and benches, as well as toilets and a bar.
