After the Top Ten Beaches on the Eastern and Northern Shores of Lake Garda, here is a list of the most beautiful beaches on the western shore of Lake Garda.

1 – Sirmione – “Jamaica Beach” One of the most beautiful free beaches in the south of Lake Garda where rocks on the lakebed add a blueish tourquoise colour to the water. The beach is on the tip of the Sirmione languet and cannot be reached by foot when the water-level rises.

2 – Sirmione – “Lido delle Bionde” The free Lido delle Bionde consists of stones with some grassed areas. The beach has a restaurant, bars, a canoe and a pedalo rental. There are aperitifs and happy hours in the evenings.

3 – Manerba – Bay “Baia Bianca“* This is a very popular beach with youngsters, and there are bars and music for them. The beach is subject to a fee and offers a sun lounger and a parasol rental. There are also a restaurant, bars and boat service. Apart from being a beach, the Baia Bianca also is a club where people meet in the evenings.

4 – Beach “Spiaggia Fontanella Gargnano” This is a beautiful free beach with grassed and gravel areas in the shade. The beach offers an area for children, a picnic area and the possibility to play ping-pong and volleyball. There are also showers and WC, a surf rental, a bar and a restaurant.

5 – Beach “Prà de la Fam Tignale”* This is a free gravel beach, which is situated in the south of the Tignale port where you can find a small gulf. The beach is popular with surfers because of the Pelér wind in the area, one of the two winds of Lake Garda. There is a free carpark and a bar.

6 – San Felice – Bay “Baia del vento”* This beach, situated in San Felice del Benaco, is one of the most famous on Lake Garda. From here, visitors can admire Monte Baldo, the languet Punta San Vigilio, the Isola del Garda and, from the western shore, the Vittoriale in Toscolano Maderno. The languets Punta del Corno and Punta di San Fermo can be found on both ends. 

7 – Limone – Beach “Spiaggia Tifù” The free stone beach is also suited to families with children as there are many grassed places in the shade. There are showers and WC, as well as pizzerias, bars, beach volleyball camps and a restaurant in close proximity. The beach is the seat of the sailing club “Circolo Vela Limone del Garda”.

8 – Toscolano – “Lido Azzurro” This sand beach is situated on the Zanardelli lakeside in Toscolano Maderno. Here visitors can rent sunloungers, parasols and deck-chairs and use the showers and beach cabins. This beach, close to a park and with a lot of facilities, is subject to a fee. There is a free stone and gravel beach in close proximity.

9 – Gardone – “Lido di Fasano” The beach is located in the town of Fasano close to Gardone Riviera. It is a free beach with beach cabins, showers and WC and bars. Dogs are not allowed on the beach.

10 – Public bathing beach “Spiaggia D’oro Desenzano” The  Spiaggia d’Oro Golden Beach, located in the town of Rivoltella, boasts a restaurant, bars, a club and a pedalo rental. It is a very popular beach not only with tourists, but also with local youngsters that meet here in the evening and at night.
